Circle Box April 2013

The intention of producing this object has become trite due to the blinding pursuit of perfection within its production.

This is a 15lb hollow aluminum cube with hand crafted gears on the inside (crafted by Carlton Lee). One side of the cube has a cranking shaft and on another side is a holder into which a piece of chalk is loaded. By cranking the wheel on one side, we can make squeaking sounds and draw imperfect circles.
