There is a natural instinct within us to investigate. To investigate the past and create narratives for ourselves that define us as individuals. To investigate our surroundings by creating associations and forming connections to the world. To investigate the future with the hope to create a rich trajectory for our existence. Life is a in a state of perpetual investigation, and the journey begins by questioning every norm, tradition, belief and assumption.

“jiij” is the result of such investigation, both musically and sonically. It is a purposeful attempt to deviate from the norms that I have unconsciously established for myself. It is an experiment, and with it I depart into a space where I have no maps to navigate the landscape.
